Be A Bud
At the Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum, we are always thinking about growing. Growing minds, growing ideas, growing families, growing programs, and growing fun! Sometimes we think of our discovery place as a family tree – strong and steady, permanently rooted in our community, and constantly branching out to new partners, members, volunteers, and friends.
We invite you to Be A ‘BUD’ and add some new growth to this community tree! There's no better way to show your enthusiasm and support for the Central Wisconsin Children's Museum than by becoming a donor. Program revenue (Museum entrance fees and memberships) provides about 25-30% of total revenue needed to support the operating budget. To meet our operating budget, we must raise about 75% of our operating budget from individuals, local businesses, corporations and foundations. |
Every Child! Every Family! Every Group! Fund
Too many children do not have the chance to learn in a fun and exciting way, play with other kids, access environments that will prepare them for school, or enjoy a carefree quality time with their families. The Every Child! Every Family! Every Group! Fund opens the Museum doors to kids, families, and groups who would not be able to afford a visit so that they, too, can take advantage of the opportunities for hands-on early learning that the musuem provides.
How does it work? Families participating in the WIC (Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children) program are admitted to the museum for $1 by showing their WIC folder.
Current Contributors: Gannett Foundation, Women's Fund of Portage County.
