Mix it Up!
Children will be able to observe the changes in the states of matter while also seeing color changes. In this engaging atmosphere, children will be able to make hypothesis, conduct experiments, and make conclusions.
Arctic Survival
What makes polar bears and penguins such top-notch survivalists in their extreme environments? By using
oil, shortening, and ice, children will conduct experiments and make conclusions about how blubber and oils help keep these animals warm and dry in extremely cold temperatures. They will also compare these natural survival techniques to how we as humans keep ourselves warm and dry.

Be a Geologist and ROCK ON!
This field trip introduces students to the wonderful world of geology through rocks. They will learn how to use rocks' properties to categorize them, learn how each category is formed, and how to identify fossils. Activities will give students a hands-on approach to their cognitive learning and will help students relate to and appreciate this wonderful natural resource, the rock.
