We have the perfect opportunity for you to schedule some quality time this summer! Welcome to the Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum’s Discovery Days summer workshops program. Our workshops encourage young people and their parent or caregiver to explore the world together by engaging in hands-on creative learning experiences. Participants, both young and young-at-heart, will make new friends and build on personal interests and talents.

Wed, June 18 10 am	Sign Language Join Miss Nicole as she teaches some basic words in sign language.    ages: 4-10
Fri, June 20 1 pm	Paper, Paper, Everywhere! Try out your hand at paper crafts from three different countries.    ages: 5-12
Wed, June 25 10 am	Nature Explorations Join Katy Matthai to explore the wonders of our environment.   ages:4-10
Fri, June 27 10am	Beautiful Beads Each person gets their own kit to make a beautiful piece of jewelry.    ages: 5-12
JULY	Discovery Art All Month with Messy Arts MonthTie-dying, Candle Dipping, Handmade Paper, Volcanoes, Marble Paper, Paper Maché, and more!
Wed, Aug 6 10 am	Ni Hao  Learn some words, songs, and origami at this introduction to Chinese class.  ages: 4-10
Fri, Aug 8 1 pm	Construction Zone Grab a hard hat, and come over to drive nails, screws, and build a mini-sized house.    ages: 4-8
Wed, Aug 13 10 am	Worm Composting Learn the benefits of worm composting and make a starter box to take home.  ages: 4-10
Fri, Aug 15 1 pm	Tae Kwon Do Join Robin from Catura’s Martial Arts to learn some basic moves.    ages: 4-7
Wed, Aug 20 10 am	Nature Explorations Ms. Katy will lead a workshop that will enlighten the nature mind.   ages:4-10
Fri, Aug 22 1 pm	Cups Full o’ Food Fun Get messy while preparing 3 different cups of snacks.    ages: 4-10
