Winter/Spring 2008

Coffee with Tonya
First  Thursday of each month, 11:00am.
Starting October 4, join Tonya at the blue counter by the blocks for some fresh, hot, coffee and casual conversation!
Each month we will discuss a different parenting challenge, swap solution ideas, and just network. This is a free, drop-in program, that does not require pre-registration. See ya there!

Autism Night
First Monday of each month, 5pm-8pm
According to a report published in the Feb 9, 2007 edition of the Washington Post, it  is estimated that 1 in every 150 children in the U.S. has autism or a closely related condition.  The musuem wants to be beneficial for every child, so starting in October, CWCM will be open the 1st Monday of each month from 5-8pm exclusively for families that have children with Autism. The museum will be available for parents and children to play together in a "less overwhelming" atmosphere.
This program is free and drop-in, no pre-registration required.

Healthy Family Nights
Second Thursday of each month, 5pm-8pm
Ministry Medical Group/Saint Michael’s Hospital, students and the Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum team up to offer families a special place to spend quality time together.  Free healthy snacks will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the Museum’s exhibits and special programs will provide fun and learning for all ages.
