Group Information
CWCM offers fantastic opportunities for elementary schools, day cares, pre-schools, Head Start programs, and other groups to broaden the experiences of their children. Groups may choose to include a structured activity or simply explore the Museum. Check all of our group activity options then call us to schedule a visit today. We welcome groups to schedule regular play appointments bi-monthly, monthly, bi-weekly,or weekly! Memberships are also available.
Group admission is $3 per child; adult chaperones are admitted for free.
- Groups must have 8 or more children and be scheduled in advance to qualify for the group rate (adults free). Maximum group size is 35 children.

Group play day visits must be scheduled at least two museum days in advance. Groups requesting structured activities must schedule at least two weeks in advance.

One adult is required for every five children; adults attending group visits are admitted free.

Private group visits are available Monday or Tuesday (subject to staff availability)
$36 per group for up to 12 children
+ $3 for each additional child

Nonprofit organizations that serve low-income families qualify to visit the Museum up to twice a year for free. Contact us for more information.
- $3 Admission fee applies to ALL visiting children, regardless of member status.
- Admission fee covers museum admission only - weekly programs (toddler music, art for little fingers, etc...) are not included with admission fees.
Guidelines for Group Visits

Please stay involved with your children, and be aware of their location and safety at all times.

Please use positive words and proactive disciplines when dealing with your children.

Please remember to teach the children to be responsible for their play area by asking them to put something away before they leave.

Please remember our preferred ratio of 1 adult for every 5 children. (family child cares may bring up to 8 at a visit)

To schedule your group, call the museum at 715-344-2003 or send an email to tonya@cwchildrensmuseum.org. Include your name, school or organization, preferred date and time of field trip, estimated number of children with ages/grades, and requested activity.
